About
Hi, I’m Kristen! I’m a Researcher, Service Designer, and UX/UI Designer. I craft meaningful and intuitive experiences that engage people on a personal, relational level.
I believe that good design seamlessly integrates into people’s lives. A good digital product will not only have a usable interface, but will improve productivity and help users achieve their goals. As technology grows, so will people’s expectations. By leveraging research, my goal as a designer is to create a holistic experience that anticipates those changing needs.
I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior and what motivates our decisions. My journey to UX was mostly accidental, though I’ve thought like a designer long before I learned the discipline existed. For many years, I’ve analyzed digital systems to identify ways to improve them and solve unmet needs. In my previous roles, I recognized the value of a positive customer experience and saw the opportunity to create more connected-customer relationships in the digital space.
It was through these insights that I discovered my passion for design was no accident, but a purposeful pivot. The UX field perfectly aligns with my passion for research, human-centered design thinking, and creative problem solving skills.
When I’m not analyzing websites or apps, you can find me taking night photos or dancing to really great music!
